Your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for the municipality's coordination of reception according to the Mass Refugee Directive and for quota refugees. You work closely with individuals, colleagues, and external actors regarding practical reception, settlement, follow-up, and measures that strengthen the path towards studies or work.

You will become an important part of the working group within the Labor Market Unit and represent Kalix Municipality in collaboration. The assignment requires flexibility, independence, and the ability to build good relationships. Through your work, you contribute to creating good conditions for establishment, participation, and independence for people who are new to the municipality.

We are looking for

You who want to use your competence in a meaningful role where relationships, collaboration, and development are central parts. You have an academic education in fields such as social work, behavioral science, work science, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience of refugee reception, social work, labor market issues, or the methods of social services is meritorious.

As a person, you are secure, flexible, and solution-focused. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships, while also being able to work independently and structured. The role requires that you can plan, coordinate, and follow up on measures, as well as collaborate with both internal and external actors. You express yourself well in both speech and writing. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
